How the check works

  • We call balanceOf and decimals on the CHONK contract through the public RPC rpc.mainnet.chain.robinhood.com.
  • The address you paste is sent to that RPC as part of the call, the same way a block explorer would receive it. Do not paste addresses you do not want associated with a request.
  • If the RPC rate-limits or blocks the browser, you will see a message and a link to the explorer, where you can check the balance by hand.
